Lemon juice is a natural source of citric acid and that makes it a great alternative for pure citric acid. HOWEVER they won’t fizz as enthusiastically.
HOW TO make your own Bath Bombs WITHOUT Citric acid or Cream of tartar!

Drop one in your bath water for the lovely smelling essential oils and to release the skin soothing baking soda!
These bath bombs are best used ‘fresh’, so right after you make them. The longer you wait, the less they’ll fizz.

I just made a bath bomb. I used food coloring to make it colorful; I also used a plastic Easter Egg as the mold. For decorations, I put dried rose petals and lavender bath salt..

I used dried lavender buds on top, truffle molds and some mica powder in the mixture. they made amazing mini bath bombs! :)

Lemins have naturally occurring citric acid. Not the citric acid powder that actually comes from mold, thats widely used in many processed things today.

Yes of course you can double it. You can make as much as you need. Just form the bath bombs or toliet fizzles right away. I use heart shaped silicone mats or whatever they are called.

No it didnt not in water but if you out it in lemon juice it kinda fizzes but just turn to this disgusting baking soda mess so I wouldn't recommend it but great video

Hi Jen, this was one of my first videos so I forgot to film that part. Beginner mistake, sorry! :-) To make them fizz make sure to use lots and lots of lemon juice. They should be soaking wet. Then let them dry. They should fizz when you drop them in the water, but it'll never work as good as when you use citric acid. Check out my other videos for tutorials with citric acid!

I just tried this and I am currently just leaving them to dry up the paper cases did not work so I just used cup cake things 😂 I hope these work well did you try them ?

Great! It's not the same effect as with a 'real' bath bomb, but they should fizz a little at the beginning!
