My guess is that this cut them to fit the hooks that you get/ have width-ways and the length to preference. Is estimate that the final loops are between 5-10cm long, maybe 8cm(?), so double that plus seam allowance for the length, and then 2.5-3 times the width of your hooks so you can fold in and finish them nicely. I'd probably put interacting in them too, too give them extra strength, and maybe interface the lining as well for the same reason... Hope that helps.

Interfacing makes your fabric sturdier. It can be sewn in, ironed in (fusible) or just placed in depending on the project, fabric n what you want. It comes in very light weight to very stiff n sturdy. It adds integrity to your project. Look up videos on you tube on interfacing. It comes in many many types n weights.

They look double the height of the side of pouch and folded through the clips plus your sew seam width is 4x width of clip opening usually. Sometimes 3x depends on you I guess

Hi, Darlene! This is my doubt too. I would make strips measuring 6cm x 13cm. The finished strips would measure approximately 1.5cm x 6cm (in the metal ring).
