Freaking Genius! That was cool to watch! That has to be very satisfying, having the ability to make your tool rather than having to leave the shop to go buy one that probably wouldn’t even be as functional / durable. It’s a pleasure to watch people work who know their trade like that. Thanks for sharing that knowledge and your idea , kind sir!
Pretty slick idea and I like its final use. Just a thought, if you cut off two sides of the square plate it is mounted to you will be able to store it in most shop drawers and it could still be clamped in the vice. Thanks for taking the time to post.
Where do I begin to comment? Absolutely genius application of shop skills; the welding and oh, the grinder work to make that forming post! Wow! Last but not least, that background music track was great listening to, not too loud, not distracting.
Great collection of tools and creative generation of new ones. Awesome workmanship. neat hands. God bless you! Thanks for the video. Few weeks back I struggled with 4mm GI wire for rcc slab. I wish I had this tool. managed with a 4mm cut in small wood block and plier, rather crude way
I was surprised to see a mime in a metalworking tutorial! Clever idea, and impressive freehand machining accuracy. The clamping application at the end is a great way to utilize scrap steel banding. Thanks.
Not sure why anyone would dislike. The build is simple, clever, inexpensive, scalable to larger sizes, compact and quick to fabricate. Okay fine, you can't use it to fly to Mars. I concede.
Bien claro y creo que por su forma de solucionar el problema muy acertado, gracias por compartir su experiencia y conocimientos saludos cordiales desde Chile
Wow something that someone made that's homemade that isn't entirely useless it makes Ben's in metal that I haven't seen other Benders to my knowledge possible
great if you want to make your own chain. next step is to weld each segment loop closed and heat treat the chain until its tempered steel. Having this tool looks like a fun way to spend some time making chains of a certain type.
Great little tool very clever. My 2 cents is to invest in some metal cutting paste for thread cutting, makes it heaps easier and preserves taps and dies.I'm a huge fan of Rocol products, cheers
Diy quer ótimo vídeo o teu canal está de parabéns vídeo bem simples e muito bem espicado ótimo você está de parabéns 👍 (eu sou do Rio de Janeiro) valeu mesmo
lol...Thought the piece of rod you were bending was a demonstration of 'just bending'.... but turned out that was just as cool 'a' gadget as the bender - Top work :)
buen invento quedo original, Me gustaria ver otra obra de arte,Pero en una cocina a gasoil ya que en mi pais se hace bastante dificil conseguir la bombona comun saludos
Great video and very slick design. I have a big diameter, short bolt and nut. I think I will weld the bolt head to the plate and eliminate one of the nuts.
Great video! One thing, don't wear gloves around moving machines. Just touching that drill tip will twist the glove (and your hand) right into the bit. Major trip to E. R. And rehab. Love the bender!
