Merci! Now I know where to start to make a costum finch cage. I was looking at cages in pet stores and they were so damn expensive. And also not wide enough and too tall ( since finches prefer the top perches and need a long horizontal path to encourage exercise ).

Where did you get the mash because galvanized mesh isn't safe and you can't really find plain stainless steel mesh anywhere so where did you find the bird safe mash
Were are the toys? And I would suggest some perches with natural curves. A really great FREE 'toy' can be branches with leaves, gives them something to do. Other than that, its a nice sized cage. I like that they can fly a little in it.
hi I was wondering if I could put holes in the top edge of a large storage container using my soldering iron to make holes in the container to ziptie chicken wire to the top to make a finch cage tall 2019 I purchased 1 finch from petsmart in chelmsford MASS I got it home then I went to a pet shop in chelmsford MASS got it home OMG I realized the were male and female I don't want babies so I got another cage and separated them I saw at my local pet shop 2 finches in the same cage when I had the money to get them they were gone I made my mistake and I will live with it's 1 year later I don't have space like you do yet I can go up to the ceiling is what I'm thinking a good or bad idea they can't be in the same cage the food dishes and seed mess and poop would be at the bottom for easy cleaning for me thank you have a great day enjoy life I will take care y'all I live in Massachusetts I call it taxachusetts near Boston I like when someone says ya'll 👵🐟♎🕊🌞🎥👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Please add more perches and also some vegetation for them to sit on. they must feel so exposed. But the cage is nicely built and I thank you for the instructions.
thank you soooo much: I will get my first bird ever and I want it when I'm not home or during night to have a lot of spcae to fly at(cause durign day since My window has liek cage, I will elt bird fly over my room)
