We FINALLY built a blueberry enclosure to keep the birds from eating all our blueberries! I put a list of everything I used below.
Netting: amzn.to/3qokioB
Zip Ties: amzn.to/3gUo0mS
PVC Pipe Cement: amzn.to/3gVeAYp
1 1/2" PVC pipe 10 foot long.
8 - 1 1/2" PVC elbows.
4 - 1 1/2" PVC connectors.
12- 7 foot T-Posts. (Tractor Supply)
2 - 20 foot 2x6 (cut mine to 17')
2 - 16 foot 2x6 (cut mine to 13')
Enclosure was 13x17 feet.

Amazing! So simple and effective. How do you get inside to harvest?

You should fill the inside of your bueberry garden with 6 inch depth of woodchips. You will be amazed at how much woodchips help. If you end up not liking it you can remove it. The health of my blueberry plants really improved with woodchips even in year one. Also watering them twice a week until the temps get colder here in Michigan (even after harvest) is a must for.a great crop the following year. After the harvest, the plants are creating next years crop and the large buds you see at the end of the season will be clusters of berries. The smaller buds are new branches.

How did you get into the enclosure to pick the blueberries? Was there an opening at one end?

I left a side of the netting loose so you could lift it up and get in. Thanks for watching!

And how did you put the netting on? Roll the camera. The netting has to be the most difficult part and you didn't show it.

Sorry about that. It is definitely a 2 person job but wasn't that hard to put on.

I started using a fine white mesh netting after having a few birds get tangled in the black netting
