Really creative. But you've forgotten one thing. In order to kill the undesired sound vibration, you should cover the barrel from the innerside with a layer of fiber glass or alike. This will give you a pure sound.

Yes, ppl need to understand ground water is not unlimited resource. And yes, earlier climate cycles were almost perfect, got rains in the right time and it replenished the ground water. But now climate is changing, it's erratic and there are several places in Africa and India which are already out of water. So it's important we consider water as critical resource and use judiciously. We never know what's gonna happen in future.

Many will say: wow how clever or ingenious and cheap ... but actually in my point of view it is a horn Fankestein ... an artifact of Horror and worse for the neighborhood! When manufacturing a cabinet for some speakers, the materials and geometry must be respected so as not to have an acoustic riot shot everywhere, respecting the order of the speakers and their electro-acoustic direction ... to my liking that is an orgy of heartbreaking sound from eardrums ... but everyone destroys their sense of hearing however they want, right?

So. We've taken a useful rain barrel and turned it into a tinny speaker with no bass. Got to admit the implementation is ambitious and clever, though.
