DIY Bluetooth Speaker 

Since both speakers share the same cabinet, you should've hooked them up out of phase with each other. This will increase bass performance. Right not they are fighting each other to compress the air inside the tube. If they were out of phase, one speaker would push in while the other would push out. Switch the polarity + - on one speaker and you will notice a big difference in bass response.

You need to use a boost converter to step up the voltage to 6.5v. Because now you're getting 3 watts per channel, if you step up the voltage you can get up to 5w per channel.
