Building a full body kit for my R32 sedan while in quarantine! This pandemic has got us all locked inside so might as well be productive :) infamousmind.com Instagram: @infamous.mind Email me: jesse@infamousmind.com
Nice job. About 10 year ago I made a rear window spoiler as well. Very similar process I used. At the time I didn't think about using expanded foam, but used the pink insulation foam board and hand carved and glassed it. I covered the foam in tinfoil to keep the resin from eating it. but that's how i got my form. Can't wait to see this whole project finished.
What is great about this build is that when you build it yourself then its one of a kind vs hundreds of add on parts that people buy which makes they're s no different fron someone else except maybe a different color, awesome job dude
where do you learn to do this? is there like a forum or book where i get can get all the steps and how to's cause in every youtube vid i've seen they always seem to skip over some things. like why were u molding huge sheets of fiberglass over the roof and back glass? what part of the process is that?
I been slinging body filler and make a lliving doing iit for 25+ years bro , and I will never knock another man's work, but I would not use drywall mud brother!! I am afraid all of your hard work and 💰 will crack and fall out relatively quickly if u do that. I'm sure you've probably heard a million different ways though. It will be a learning experience!lol 36grit and start cutting it while it's soft, don't by 3M Bondo filler, it's shit, get you some nice lightweight filler, "ZGrip" is good and cheap and cuts well,
Hey! Appreciate the input, but I have a bit of a different technique than you think with the drywall filler. It is simply to get the base shape - then it will be sealed with fiberglass. The drywall filler is not meant to be structural at all - as I will be moulding it and reproducing the parts out of carbon fiber / fiberglass. It is just simply to get the shape correct :)
Dopework bro, just decided to make a one off kit for my Lexus and I laughed when you showed your digital mod version of the kit because I've been using the stylus on my Note 20 Ultra to sketch all of my ideas onto photos. Can't wait to see it done!
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@Josue Trey I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Dude I can see me doing this!! I can see me fabbing up jigs/molds Here’s what would kill me!! Let’s say I got the right fender flare perfect …. Or right side of bumper aero dead nuts they way I like it How do you keep it a 100% xerox copy to the left side That would make my OCD flare up & I’d loose my sh*t Is there a Body Mans mod/hack for coping something perfect left to right Right to left 🤔
You are killing it I wish i found your videos before I cut and change the front bumper on my 09 ford fusion usin a bumper from a honda accord And i looked for ideas here on youtube I also want a roof spoiler now i kmow how i can do my own 😀😀🤔🤔👌👌👌
the roof spoiler is increasing the wake size and not letting clean air reach the boot lid spoiler 😂 I know its just for looks but I thought I'd through that in.
Fibreglass and and apoxy resin, body filler or clay and a cardboard mold (your design) in plastic that stick's to surface if heat treated, lubricate material and sand paper. Make the mold by cardboard then grab your body filler or clay and do a 5 to 10 coats all over it Sand it to the shape you like Wrap it in that plastic make sure to leave no air bubles open spots or folds lubricate so the fiber glass don't stick to the mold start applying fiberglass sheet by sheet after every sheet add the apoxy mix. Do some research because sometime has past when I read or heard this as it might be incomplete it might be incomplete .
hi bro. im also doing bodykit durjng this pandemic. the problem is i tend to get engaged with other activities lol. how do you even manage to do these stuff? for me it might take a while to complete my project.
Dude this is so badass. I'm going to try something like this an hope it comes out right lol. I have a 98 Mitsubishi eclipse. As of right now it has no side skirts an the flat spoiler I hate it lol. Great job bro love it

When you have a car that is actually worth some money and it's only getting more expensive PLEASE BUT EXCELLENT QUALITY AFTERMARKET STUFF. IT deserves to have excellent stuff, I mean this stuff is cool but NOT FOR THIS CAR YO
