I did boho faux locs on my daughter and I found that mousse (not wrap foam) worked for the human hair pieces (like the White Rain mousse, Suave or Tresemme). The thicker consistency worked.

After three weeks I did have to go in with a comb to detangle the human hair and it tangled right back up the same
