I see someone else asked this question but didn't get an answer, so I thought I'd ask as well. I'm intrigued by the tool you are using to apply the glue to the cardboard. It appears to be a foam applicator of sorts and seems to do a great job of applying a nice even coat of paint to the card board. Is this a home made device or something I can purchase online. Beautiful box by the way! 😀

I didn't miss it. If you notice at 2:24 first I put the circle to the ring, then I glue the back.

Thank you!! , The glue that I use is wood glue mixed with a little water, the layer of the paper I use is striped wrapping paper, and the material is yellow cardboard like the one in the video, or you can also use greyboard.

Yo uso cartulina amarilla 30 con un grosor de 2mm, primero la dejo secar y luego la cubro con papel.

So far there have been no such problems. in the video, the bottom is glued twice, try to pay more attention in ( 2:33 & 2:58 )

Congratulations on the work... but I have a doubt, is the measure of the lid of the box the same corresponding to the size of the bottom part? And how does it fit perfectly, if your measurement didn't get bigger... doesn't the lid always have to be a bigger size than the base of the box?

If you notice, I drew the lid after the body was finished and of course the size is not the same because it has been fitted with cardboard as the body, this adds about 3mm from the initial size.

Biasanya kurang lemnya, lem jangan terlalu kental (campur pakai air secukupnya), pastikan di lem secara merata dan biarkan kering sebelum di gulung.

I can't tell when you're using the white glue and the yellow glue. Am I supposed to buy both types?

Generally, white glue is used for paper adhesive to cardboard, and yellow glue is for cardboard adhesive. I suggest you use yellow glue to make it easier to shape the body and cover.
