Hello Wannabe Mechanics,in this episode we will replace the shock absorber and the brake pads on a 2013 Skoda Octavia III /MK3 .You can also change the rotor during this operation if you find it necessary.
NOTICEABLE SYMPTOMS OF WORN SHOCKS
- Car veering or sliding in side winds
- Uneven wear appearing on your tires.
- Rocking, rolling and rattling.
- Swerving and dipping when applying your brakes.
- Excessive vibration in your steering wheel.
- And even delayed or longer stopping distances
I am using the Go Pro Hero 7 for my videos. In my opinion it is the best due to mechanical gimbal‑like stabilization-without the gimbal. Also you can use any power bank you want when filming, no over heating. Affiliate link here for best deal:

Thank you for sharing. The 18mm socket is actually a 19mm, maybe only on my skoda octavia mk3. the torque diagram is not the same aswell. Other than that great job guys.

keep in mind that by looking at the workskop manual of my skoda octavia 2016 the torques are different. So make sure you u use the correct torque on your car. Like the hub nut torque is not 50nm , it is actually 200nm + 180 degress
