DIY Building a Garden Shed | Part 1

Emily your Father has taught you well in life !!! I can see you will be able to carry on in his gracefully older time of years !!! Glad you have the Garden Shed dug into the ground also it will help in keeping food frozen and also the root vegs cold and not to freeze in there !!! I know your Father has got the chest freezer in the basement of the new log cabin this is great as it is needed there with the COLD WEATHER we are to have in the USA & CANADA this next winter months !!! Put solar panels somewhere on the roof or on the south side of the shed that will keep the place running for you Emily !!!

One thing I have been curious about. Since your dad is so used to working alone for the most part and at his pace does he make the switch over well to working with someone else that maybe doesn't work at the pace he wants?

When I was a kid, 65 yrs ago, good sheets were a 'given'. My mom didn't have to spend a lot for good sheets. Through the years I noticed sheets available in the U. S. weren't quality any more. Not at all. Then I noticed they are there, but you have to pay a fortune. I haven't paid a fortune, but I have upgraded and you're right, Emily, good sheets make all the difference!! I'm proud of you, because you're not lazy, you're industrious, faithful, and so responsible. You have goals and consistently work towards them. God bless you, from far north California

Everything is looking great lots of garden beds and they are doing great. Nice shed for storage and root cellar, apologizes are not necessary it is a busy time of year with work and doing everything you can to provide a healthy living and set up a home . Your garden looks wonderful love the shed and watching your dad and you working to build it very nice he is teaching you well . the meal you cooked looked very tasty , Wish I had as much luck with my strawberry i fertilize with fish emulsion, have good rich soil maybe next year , They also get plenty of sun and have a bit of shade . Hi Emily garden growing very well nice to see you with your dad building the shed looks very good what color you're going to paint the shed can't wait to see you finish the shed.

Emily : Right as for the sheets on your bed, me I sleep great between two merino blankets and often wake refreshed and ready to do what needs doing. They are expensive but in my opinion best there is. As for the potatoes I think you had better look at increasing the size of the outer planking as the more you earth up and higher the plants will grown and they hate high winds and intolerant weather conditions. So that is my advice plant wise and bed comfort wise - as I love my 7 hours in peaceful tranquillity - not often achieved due to road works down below my building - oh and I live in a skyscraper 120 feet above the ground, so noise travels upwards. Tata the Noo.
