You could also add neodymium magnets to the shell casings so it could join together after wraping it around the hand :)
@lego20083
@lego20083 7 лет назад
Ofcourse only when the material inside the braid would be more flexible :p
@eXe09
@eXe09 7 лет назад
That would be different "project". Use the paracord instead of the wire, it would be flexible, but still hold od the arm
@w3bb0y
@w3bb0y 6 лет назад
Bit late but I did actually do this. I popped out the primer and used small neodymium magnets in their place. Then just braided rope between the two shells. Unfortunately the magnets are too small to keep the shells together and would require a magnet the same width as the shell to have any holding force; this would have ruined the look :(
@tomchapman4826
@tomchapman4826 6 лет назад
@@w3bb0y why not use stronger larger magnets on the inside of the shells?

Professional jeweler here, A few critiques, first, be sure to use lead free solder, though I think plumbing is normally lead free these days, still it's better to check than assume. I'd also solder the tip pointing down so gravity will help keep the solder from flowing up the entire length of the bracelet. Also you'd be way better off using epoxy for the cartridge casings than hot glue which is notorious for coming undone. Last, a question, did you break any sawblades? If so, how many? :-P Ps, ever think of doing a version of just the copper cable with cartridge ends? some folks are into that healing conducting metal magnets humbo jumbo.
@SawdustAndCalluses
@SawdustAndCalluses 7 лет назад
JB2 I agree with the hot glue part, but even if there is traces of lead in the solder, it's covered in rope and a layer of brass.

Amazing work dude! Just a few questions though! 1) why you dress the cooper with the paracord? 2) if you would like to let the cooper like that, without a "dress" is there any kind of spray that we can polish the cooper avoid any skin colouring from the metal, since its well known that cooper becomes green while in water contact. Thanks for your time in advance and keep up the awesome work!

Tuhan, First consult the regulations in your country about firearms, if the shells are legal to possess, you can buy them in eBay or similar sites just look for "Bullet Shells"
@abishaakmal7455
@abishaakmal7455 7 лет назад
you are most likely Indonesian. it's easy, but don't go to nearest military base asking for one if you don't want to be interrogated by the Provost (been there done that). just ask them in your nearest AA IPSC or PERBAKIN club. I myself had plenty of brass casing from my session.

Be Creative. This video is meant to show how creative you can be. Come up with your own combination of calibers and cords and colors. The bullet case is 40 S&W (approx. 10mm). The cord is braided and is probably about 3/8 inch (approx. 9.5mm). You can get solid copper wire from hobby stores or from inside electrical cable at hardware stores.
