I've been doing the same! My only problem has been with durability on the larger pieces staying glued to the hats. May I ask what kind of glue you use?

Lynnette Simpson the video girl is just using hot glue. I recommend something like contact cement and a steady hand for something large that you don't want falling off.

One great way to keep glitter on (and not have it be moop) is put about 3 layers of clear-drying glue over the top of wherever you put your glitter. This will essentially keep the glitter behind a wall of dry glue so that it has no chance of falling off.

Burning man is an amazing let's call it camping trip in the middle of the desert where people come from all over and party. Burners, or the people who visit burns, follow awesome guidelines like "radical self-reliance" and "radical self-expression," meaning they completely rely on themselves to bring everything you need to survive for a few days in the desert. You have to bring your own food, water, camping equipment, and anything you want to party with (think like a bar, benches, hoops, dj set-up). You take showers by a shower truck that circulates around, or maybe you brought your own camping shower. You're not allowed to let the water run-off, you have to collect it and bring it back out with you. Radical self-expression means that you can express yourself to whatever extent you would like to by wearing lots of outrageous designs and outfits. Some people will even decorate their bikes to look like a snail or add lights all over it. **** "THE" burning man in the desert is super crowded, 80k people attended last year. That's a whole city that relocates to that one place for 4 or 5 days, however long it is, and then completely vanishes after the fact. It's intense but amazing and I've never been. There are regional burns in every state, where you can go and have a more chill camping/party environment of 1k-5k people. You can search for "regional burns" and whatever state you're in.
