i recommend hair extensions. actual human hair looks better. but still do what makes u happy. my hair is so thin so i use hair extensions to have more volume.

I’m glad it’s back in too, not because I was around the first time but because layers are the only way my hair looks good and not just flat on top, pouffy at the ends (triangle mode). It’s just not cute
Excuse me, if one of the stylists in my shops did that cut I would take them aside in private and teach the them correct way to cut. If they were so full of themselves as to refuse to learn I would assume they went to an inferior school I would give them exactly 15 minutes to pack their tools, clean their station and leave. Poor work loses everybody 💰 money.
@@gailhall6283 exactly! But for someone doing it on themselves with no formal hair education... she didn't do too bad. One of the not worst "at home haircut" videos I've seen in a while. I love how you explained what you would do step by step - and for someone who's worked for some not so great salon owner's... I give you tons of credit for being SOOO professional and polite about it! Bc I remember being fresg out of school and having my 1st boss just openly tear me apart in front of my client's! And that didn't entice me to want to learn better... it just made me want to crawl into a hole of embarrassment. You're awesome!!!! 😊

OMG I was thinking it's obviously. It's good way to cut hair by yourself but not so complicated etc... I do this before go to hairsdesser's school and I cut my mom's hair same like this when I was 13 and 14yo...
As a young person who has done a lifetime worth of research on how to cut hair because I cut my own, she did EVERYTHING RIGHT! The cut fits her face perfectly and the layers were even and not choppy! She did a wonderful job.

unfortunately you're right, I stopped making my hair shorter because if I were to do it in layers, no amount of styling on my stubborn thin Asian hair would ever get it to look that voluminous, and bobs made people assume I was a mom which i hated (for context: I was literally 14 and never wore makeup at the time) lmao
@@iblodreina usually yes, but like any group of people in our world, there are exceptions. The Korean lady who runs the beauty supply near my home has very thin hair. It actually looks like male pattern baldness. But ya know what, I have to hand it to her, she don't give a rats ass. She's got a million wigs for sale in there and she can't be bothered with her own head. After being in the business for almost 50 years, I've come to realize that for the most part, if I had to pick an area of the world where the most beautiful heads of hair come from, it has to be India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan as far as majority goes.

I usually just do a single low pony and a single solid chop to cut my mid-back length hair. I gave this a go. It wasn’t a massive difference on my thin, wispy hair. But it was just enough of a difference that I think I’m switching for good. I like the way it falls in the back since there’s a less dramatic point on the bottom section. Thanks for showing this technique off!
