❤ My first time watching your videos! I’m a 77+ yo lady who has lived in 17 homes over my 57 years of marriage! Our homes have ranged from 3 historic period homes to 1950’s era homes to new construction homes; all over USA and even in the Middle East. I have refurbished many of our homes; as well as restoration of the 3 historic homes; painting and restoration of wood floors, trim and walls. It’s been a whirlwind of an adventure and truly an amazing journey! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us! Btw: I can only thank my mother who taught her 8 children to become knowledgeable in restorative home care/design. This is a very smart transformation. The price tag is amazing. I don’t think you mentioned that not only is the dark colour on the cabinets stylish and contemporary but it’s incredibly practical. It would not occur to me that I could spray paint a cooker hood, that is a great tip.

Amazing job!! These standard big box store cabinets are in a zillion homes across America. Did you know you can rehang the doors inside out!! Yes!! They are the perfect shaker cabinet door if you just turn them around!! I'd love to see you do another kitchen using this tip. It's a game changer for anyone who ever dreamed of having shaker cabinets. They may already have them and not even realize it!!!!
