This was a super exciting project in collaboration with Basecamp Speciality Coffee in North Lakes, Queensland. There's simply nothing better than a huge transformation in a small, busy space - and it isn't too hard to achieve.
The GO team are 110% caffeine addicts, we sadly rely on, and quite enjoy our coffee. When the lads from Basecamp mentioned their front counter was rather tired and needed a refresh, we knew this was the perfect projects to put our range of gear to the test to see what we could achieve.
The nature of cafes is that they are incredibly busy, and have strict requirements for cleanliness. Sanding a pre-painted and flaking timber surface poses its own challenges, particularly when the store needs to re-open first thing the next morning for trade. The GO team demonstrate our range of Mirka Dustless Sanding Equipment, using the Mirka DEROS 5mm and extractor combination to beautifully sand back and prepare the timber surface for repainting. We take you through our steps on how to sand, clean and repaint any timber surface to instantly provide a refreshing and aesthetically pleasing environment. Our range of Two Fussy Blokes Mini Microfibre Rollers, Wooster Pelican Pail and iQuip Envo 36mm Masking tape helped to get the job done; these are our holy-grails for any brush and roll job that we tackle.
We were stoked with the results, and our mates at Basecamp Speciality coffee are super grateful for the speed, no-dust and no mess turnaround of their front counter.
