Wow, imagine this done in a whole room with white silk satin, white silk voile and cloth of gold, with loads more fairy lights. Or a tent in the woods hung with those fabrics. What a sumptuous sight that would be to behold!
Me and my family are moving so we're gonna redecorate my room (I shared with my siblings) this video gave so many ideas! You're instructions were so clear better then other videos, thanks!
Thanks so much for this tutorial, here are some tips that helped me :) - if your lights aren't very bright you may want to get a sheer fabric instead of cotton - use safety hooks because they have a latch to keep the light from falling, so you don't have to go through the extra effort of tying the light to the hook with fishing line -make sure to be very gentle with the ceiling hooks; don't pull down on it or else the hook will fall
I was looking for the internet to tell me I would see the fairy lights through muslin … every single article talks about sheer tulle until you. Thanks! 🌟looks awesome !!
Enjoyable to watch, and you took the mystery out of a project that everybody else seems to make way too complicated. And I loved your hair with the low Italian ponytail you look like the angel fairy goddess DIY teacher
We are about to re-do our daughters room. Mermaid theme. Your tutorial was budget friendly, easier and beautiful. My 6 year old is super excited! Continue your DIY's!
My daughter did something similar for mother’s day she got blue multi fuction net lights and black mosquito net and pinned the lights up first then the net turning my plane old bed into a lit up 4 poster 😍
I love the video and I love the great details you have for each step, it's so extremely helpful! I just wish that you recorded a better view of the final results. I feel like I can't get a nice, full view of how it looked. I can see that the sheet went behind your bed frame, but what about the end of your bed? Was the sheet long enough to hang over the end as well? I hope that makes sense.
Go to a website called wish. You will find ALL types of lights CHEAP. Now I will have to warn you , when you go to this site be careful not to get. . . Hooked. lol
The lights you put up, are they really a yellowish gold glow? I bought string lights but they are very fluorescent and way too night. I like the soft yellow glow. Watched your video, ty so much as this will be much easier.
Love the tutorial! Is the muslin totally opaque or can you see through a bit (during the day vs at night with the lights on)? I want to do this as a privacy curtain as well.
Very beautiful, but I’m still a bit confused about the pattern of the lights and the way you pinned the fabric with safety pins. You said to pin them up, but how and where. Maybe I’m not with it, but I want to try this with some fabric in my granddaughter’s room at my house. I’m doing this with bunk beds. I hope it comes out half as nice as yours!
good question, because you have a queen size bed, add another 7 yards, because your bed is wider, you need to triple up the fabric instead of doubling it like i did in the vide
Pastelitas I sure will ! 💙 I'm moving soon and I'm trying to make my new room more my style and my own little bat cave 💙 I'm going to have to find and re paint all funatuire black and I just can't wait 💙💙 I'm so excited for my move
Thanks for the video! How did your light hold up? Customers on Amazon complained that the lights shorted out, didnt work at all or only lasted a few dats.
Auuuuugh! This was so cute and amazing! But behind my bed is a huge painting with. Bunch of wall decals on it too...any tips on how I can do this otherwise?
do these led lights have levels you can change them to because I've seen some ked kught like this that have levels and hiw fats they blink. if not can it be done with the level changing lights?
Okay so I went to buy some of the lights you used in tutorial but all I found was " LED curtain string lights (300)" would the 300 be to much or would it be to little ??
