if you used the the tiny apples it would have been more bite sized and more like a caramel lollipop but i don't know how they are prepared in the U.S . Most likely the lumps would be the sugar which is not as small as refined sugar. It could probably be avoided by making it a syrup first before mixing. If you over cooked the milk you would know:)

I made caramelized apples from scratch when I was young from scratch, we lived near a sugar factory and I learned how to make it perfectly (I still make my own sugar) and I got some apples from a nearby apple orchard (also no offense but you grabbed the apples horribly, if you grab them like that you usually damage the trees.) and made caramel apples that looked great, and tasted great too

Great vid, as always! The caramel apple, I think, is the epitome of Western "efficiency". Dip whole apple into sauce and good luck trying to hold it (no, sticks don't work), bite into it, dig around the pith, all the while staying relatively clean. Cuz its more "efficient" to just get er done and worry about the consequences later. And we keep doing it this way cuz we can. You know how they say, efficiency is the mother of invention.

should try make apple juice or sider presses. what do take bunch wooden slabes connected together with wire or string. role into slender shape. want slabs close together keep apple pulp together. then need a two round wooded circles.that fite inside slab slender shape. if don't make own buy menardes or other home improvement stores. Normally sold table tops. if do want make own. drill hole in middle bunch bordes glued up. take string and beg. pencil other end string as trace or draw wood swing circles. then use jig saw cut out. then bottom one need holes drilled and clean bucket same shape or size catch juice. the top circle need attached jack that press mass of cut apples with. so basicly have bottom wooden cycle with slab slender attached to it. lined with bed sheet. dump cut hafe apples in here. put top wooden cycle on it. then lay jack top that. put border on jack part. have end bord touch something won't move. start jack bored up. witch push wood cycle down. till liquid pressed out holes in bottom wood cycle. the apple juice catches in bucket. lot home made one work set clean jack on top circle and put border tope wedge agents beam that attached cyclender wooden slates. that jack border that press bord go across top push down cycle squeeze apple mash. line your presses cheese cloth or clean bed sheet. cut apples hafe or light blend with blender dup cycled lined with bed sheet. put top wooden cycle and jack and put bord in that presses top bored start jacking. juice should squeeze out bottom holes. this apple juice. that what i like. to make apple cyder there few more step. remain apple mash. if pealed used food recipes. if left skin on. feed goat. then milk goat for milk for home mad soap.
