Outstanding design. If I may suggested a possible answer to the cases wanting to fall forward and out of the top bid. Possibly tilting the complete machine back may stop them from falling forward.

You should start selling them. Lol. I don’t have the skill to make them.

You should be proud - that is such a great build and I get a glimpse of all the hard work and skill that you’ve put into it. I’d love to build one too. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.

This case annealed is one of the better ones being showcased on you tube. I would definitely want to build one for myself. Have you thought about selling your plans and parts list?

Hi, I'm in the middle of building one of these, but I can't get hold of the black nylon wheel that transfers the brass from the hopper. I presume it's nylon? Could you give me the details you used in your internet search to find this type of item? Also, could you give me it's width, depth, and center hole diameter. I'm in the UK. Thank-you in advance. J.

Very nice work. Looks more professional and definitely has more features than the commercial units. Likely would cost more as well.

Just search "NPN NO 4mm Detect Distance Inductive Sensor Proximity Switch" , none of the electronics are from the US, they come from overseas. How to wire it go here, I didn't post it on youtube facebook.com/KarwathKustoms/ . I got the plastic local but it can be bought online if you don't have a local plastics company. Look up Acetal Copolymer plastic round stock or Delrin ... I bought 5 3/4 dia but did a final machine of 2 1/2" dia.. it can be bought in 2 1/2" dia as well.

I know you said you're not making these, but do you have any plans you would care to distribute. Rest assured I would be the end user and not produce to sell. This is a sweet annealer. You did a GREAT job!!

Karwath, I like the proximity sensor for counting cartridges. Would you be willing to share how this is done? I am not good at electronics. I am also looking for a way to turn off and on, the cartridge feed motor thru a sensor at the ramp/pan location.
@chillywilly6775
@chillywilly6775 5 лет назад
You could use the same style sensors they use on the Mr. Bulletfeeder

Looks like you had fun making a "better than the other guy's" annealer! Very interested in the proximity switch and counter. Nice touch. Would you mind providing your wiring diagram? I found the sensor/counter on ebay for about $15. I also like how all the controls and readouts are on the front panel. Sweet setup!

Phill Davis Thank you..I felt if I was sitting sitting at my reloading bench why would you put a readout on top you can't see..so that is why I choose to have them on the front.

I have several questions, How did you find center of rotating drum (Cake Pan), how do you cut the drum height , where did you get the torch setup?
@KarwathKustoms
@KarwathKustoms 7 лет назад
I use a starrett combination square with round stock/tube centering head to find center on the drum, note the drums are not the best in being round so you need to find a happy spot and go with it. for the height I used a sheet metal scriber to mark the height all the way around and used cut off wheel to cut it and air angle sander to clean up the edges. for the torch setup its a standard MagTorch MT200 from local store and fittings were bought online and gas hoses are custom made to the length I needed. the torch adjusting arm and torch holder I made or machined.
