Love the build! I think the stone could use a bit of painted moss or vines to add some detail, but the cats will love it :)

I know ours are spoiled rotten. We've got 5 cats and a kingsize bed. The contorted positions we sleep in just so we don't disturb them. Thank goodness for Chiropractors.

What if you made the tower with multiple balconies? So that is more open and won't really feel like hiding.

You could make more of a cat tree instead. Make it look realistic, but add wider perches.

If you have limited space, you could do what my friend did. She made a cat house into the corner of the room and made the exterior into shelves. Basically it's a tall triangular castle that goes about ⅔ of the way up the walls, has book shelves going up, with a few landings and a balcony for the kitties at the top. It's a great way to use up some dead space and multi purpose builds are always worth doing! She's kinda crazy tho, and her house is a cat jungle. The cat house attaches to a highway behind the TV, she has a skywalk for them above her head in her craft room (to keep them from walking on her stuff) and two attached window boxes outside. They can climb out a window in one room, walk along a deck outside and into the window in another room. When the weather is nice she just leaves them open and the kitties are just all over the place! It was a ton of work but her home is very small and these things keep the cats from getting into her important stuff, crafts and work areas.. I'd never recommend doing all of that, but the tower/bookshelf is a great idea for saving space. Corners are awkward and usually go unused. One day, I wish I could have a kitty home like that... I'm jealous. Haha

I’ve been so inspired by NerdForge. But my cat was so bad about using his tree that I ended up claiming it to house my plant pots. He never climbed the damn thing after he reached about 2 months old. He never even used the top platforms. but now we struck a compromise. The top platforms and box doubles as a bookcase and plant stand for me, and he gets the bottom two levels to hide away from my siblings to nap awhile without being seen lol.

My cats hate the "pspsps" cause it sounds a bit like hissing we raised them on a squeaky noise for a call, sorry there's no text equivalent, but it's like how you do a squeaky bird call and make kind of a kissy face to do it. It's pretty unique lol. It is good for preventing strangers from stealing our cats tho(huge prob here) since I assume they'll all go "here kitty, pspsps" and end up scaring them away instead of stealing them. At least I assume that's what's happening when I'm not looking, seeing as almost every house in the neighborhood has had a cat stolen except us.

Oh yeah for sure! The craftsmanship on all projects that I have seen so far is just amazing! The dragon painting is just... wow...love it! but I love dragons 🐉 this cat tower is so cool my cats would love it!
