Oof. A tip I gave my sister it to try and make the knots a bit tighter. Hold the string you’re looping it around straight and make sure that it makes the knot without tying the other string too. Hopefully you understand what I mean and it helps 😅
@@_caterinarosa yes please explain it to me i tried making these last year and all the bracelets that i made were all bent and i was really sad cause they already take alot of time to make
Instructions unclear it’s currently 2am and my pet tortoise is driving me to school in a toaster Edit: omg how come 500+ people liked this idk it wasn’t even that funny lmao
Bro. I got stuck on the loop part in the beginning Ok figured it out. Me through your this whole thing: FUDGE. SHOOT. DANG IT! Update: got it but... I didn’t watch the whole video until now. It’s just two lines. They are not connected
For anyone trying to make this and it’s too hard, I would recommend trying the twisted friendship bracelet. It’s the same knot but less complicated. It’s also really quick to do, unlike this one which takes a lot of time and practice
This was a wonderful video! I wanted to make one for my son and this was the best instructional video I've watched. (It's so great to see that other people's strings are all over the place, I thought I was doing something wrong lol but your bracelets are so beautiful! Thank you so much for posting!!
tip for anyone doing this: i would definitely take maybe 30cm more than she suggests, i think with time 150cm will work but at the first couple of times i think more thread is a good idea anyways, thank you for the tutorial, it was so helpful
Thanks so much for this! I have tried the chevron before, but I couldn't understand the instructions! This is the most clear bracelet making video ever! Pls make moreeee!!!
This is actually helpful and I usually never have the time and patience to make stuff like this but I’m trying it but mine looks like a 2 year old made it Also I’m doing this at night I don’t know why
For people strugglying with the loop get tape fold the thread in half and make a lil loop with your string and just put it onto the tape then tape it down amd tie it like that
This was such a big help! Thank u! I was NEVER into doing bracelets because theu always looked SO hard! I never even tried until I wanted to so something simple but cute that ment something for a friend and I found this video! Its surprisingly super easy! Its already turning out super cute! (I'm using turquoise, caribbean blue, white and blue 😃)
Hi. I'm not sure if it's just me but I think the instructions are clear enough, I was able to make a bracelet though when some mistakes (but it's the 1st time so that's obviously normal). Please don't say that her instructions weren't clear and you wasted your string, first, you can just follow a different tutorial if you want and you wouldn't be wasting string and second, why are you hating??? Anyways I think that this was great :) don't mind me commenting in 2020...
If you’re having trouble learning this, it might be because you’re not very familiar the knots. Try something like the Chinese staircase / spiral or candy stripe bracelet first. This bracelet isn’t that hard but for beginners, like myself, it can be confusing.
I had to keep pausing and going back to really get the movements, but I got it down after the first 5 or 10 tries lol. I can see why people struggle doing these! They’re harder than they look.
You just cut as many colors as you want and fold them in Half making the loop at the midway point and go on from there. I just made one with 3 colors and it turned out pretty good. =) -Ab
Recently I've been interested in kumihimo but unsure whether I sure make an investment, I feel like this is a good start to whether or not I like kumihimo as theres not alot of commitment and the only things I need is a button and some strings.
A couple years ago I met this girl named Anna on the internet, and after a couple months we wanted to make friendship bracelets. We used this video to help us make them. Fast forward, around 2 years ago she lost her life in a car accident due to her father drunk driving.
Me I am I supposed to do that for every step wach 15 time I don't have enough string how to I get more sring well I am just going to brade my brasslets
gUYS I LEARNED HOW TO DO IT NO LIEEE its not nice and neat like hers, but with practice i'll get it. hopefully my crush will like it for her kiara costumeee edit: crush (also best friend) dropped me, im keeping the bracelet
Izuku Midoriya thanks! And yes I have gotten it! Personally the person that created this video wasn’t very clear in her explanation in my opinion. I finally got it after some trial and error myself. Btw did she like the bracelet??
here is advice ....just keep practicing it on small pieces of strings ...not really small but also not really big ...this will make your hands get used to knotting....once you have done that it will be a piece of cake ....by the way I did that and it worked really well
That's the point. It helps with my anxiety. I do it on plane rides, at home while I'm high with music in the background, while I'm watching an uninteresting game of basketball that night, etc, and before you know it, it's done.
this is my first attempt at a friendship bracelet. 4 hours later, I'm still trying. This is just getting sad. good tutorial though, I'm just depressingly rubbish at arts and crafts
I'm really really good at crafts. I can sew, cross stitch, paint,do acrylic nails, needle felt, paint walls with cool design, but I can't for the life of my figure this out. You ain't alone
