Hello and welcome to a new video from The Useless Crafter! This time I will show you a Beginner friendly Cricut Design Space Tutorial of a DIY Cinderella Princess Off the Mat design.
Create your own large Off-The-Mat project on your Cricut - take an SVG file and turn it into an amazing party decor for your cake table, party decoration, dessert table, etc. Afterwards it can be put in the nursery or bedroom and the kids will love it!

See when you click 2 squares and move it across to fit in how you do that please as when i try it using the arrow keys it doesn't move

Hello, new subscriber! Where do you get your images, or how are you able to separate the image without having so many color shades? I'm trying to do the little mermaid as a toddler, and I got my image from Pinterest.

Hello Ann. So basically I’m doing the 48’ Cinderella with you step by step. So I can learn how to do Larger than mat characters for my daughter. Do I have to resize to a smaller side of every piece we slice ? Im afraid all pieces won’t be the same sizes 😏 & not sure to just leave it on how the computer size it ? I have a Mac and I don’t have that feature where to can rotate it and shows you the different sizes or where the number changes. Wish I was able to FaceTime you 😩😭 and the position rounded numbers are different too 😣 it’s basically 14 and 1.889 . I feel lost at this point 😓

How do you pick the images?

I always look for ones that I think can be big without seams. Like Cinderella has a head, shirt, skirt, legs ... that means each section could be 10 inches (just easier to use 10 inches than 11.5 inches). =)

Right out of the gate I agreed to do a 40inch among us robot.......two of them actually. My soul cried as soon as I realized how much dimension and movement they don't have. I am thinking of using the shadowing colors to help with seam hiding.

Hi If doing 30 inches for Minnie is easier that heights will be fine Since I have never done anything like this ever if you can do a full tutorial including cutting and putting it together would be appreciated I am a young 81 years old senior so the more information the better

I have a Minnie mouse on my list. It's one to get ready for Halloween. I'll be recording it this weekend. I usually don't do a cutting one because I'm just using the Cricut machine. But I will do a design space and an assembly tutorial. I want to make it almost life-sized at 60 inches. Are you ready to follow that one???? =)
