DIY Classic Bifold Denim and Floral Wallet | Old Jeans and Fabric Remnants Idea | Upcycle
MEASUREMENTS:
Exterior
12 cm x 24 cm ( 1 pc. denim fabric )
10 cm x 22 cm ( 1 pc. fusible fleece ) - You can skip it if you are using a thick denim.
Card Slots
12 cm x 24 cm ( 2 pcs. lining fabric)
Interior
11 cm x 24 cm ( 1 pc. lining fabric , 1 pc. floral fabric )
12 cm x 24 cm ( 1 pc. floral fabric )

I just made this without the lining and entirely out of denim - it worked super well! I also adapted it to include the hole at the crease that you see in many commercial wallets so that it closes better, so effectively one piece of 12x24cm denim and three pieces of 12x23cm denim. Having finished it, I feel like 12cm is maybe a little too tall compared to other mens' wallets I'm used to - I think in the future I would cut down to 11cm (or even 10.5 for the non-card-slot piece of interior fabric, as the interior of the wallet looks better tucked away behind the outer piece instead of flush with the outer piece). I was able to do this whole thing start to finish in just a few hours!

Just made this and it turned out great …. It does need a closure in my opinion. I tried elastic sewn top and bottom on the back that can be easily pulled over the front …. Worked well but I should have put a bit more slack on it so it didn’t pull.
