Wouldn’t it be easier to cut the stars out while the clay is flat instead of trying to do it after you put it around the cone?

I think you are right, but maybe it has something to do with putting the clay on the pattern?

a good idea would be to tape your waxed paper down onto the board and make two templates so you can keep one for tracing out and one for the cone shape.

Very nice and good tutorial. Why the need of wax paper? You didn’t show how you removed the paper from the inside of the tree. How easy/hard was it? Thanks!

Lovely tutorial :) Have you considered using an eco alternative to hot glue in your projects? I'd love to see that :) Maybe you could do a video testing out eco alternatives to see how they compare? I'd love that!
