The baking powder produces co2 when it hits the water. I am not sure that it helps with fermentation, so maybe an initial co2 kickstart while the yeast fires up? Maybe...? I've seen people add gelatin to their mixtures, to slow down sugar consumption and make the co2 last longer. But they were in relatively cold parts of the world, i am not sure how well that would hold up her in Australia.
Nice set up..question..do you think that can work for a 4x8 grow tent..if so how many generators do you think it would need and approx how long 1 generator generally last?.
I always catch your videos, your attitude is wonderful. In the future, consider a SS co2 generator with solenoid. They last a whole month with citric acid and baking soda and shut off at night. Tank looks healthy.
I bought the Aquario Neo co2 kit and followed the directions perfectly but the bubble rate is only at like 1 bubble every 4 seconds its not enough to push out the diffuser. Im not sure what is going wrong.
Hi when yeast and sugar are mixed carbon dioxide and ethanol are produced. From Google I came to know ethanol is harmful for lungs and brain. Won't the fish die?
Nature deals with fluctuating degrees of expansion and contraction within miniscule parameters of change,,,, by adding more of ANYTHING is a micro biome than would naturally occur you will create an imbalance that will eventually manifest detrimental circumstances similarly to an engine,,,, if one aspect is not working effectively and in proportion to all others it can throw out all other elements one after the other with regular iterations just enough for an eventual total crash or failure....! A MICRO BIOME exists and sustains due to MORE specific and intricate circumstances than an actually biome....! YOU CAN NOT EFFECTIVELY PREDICT THESE OCCURENCES USING LINEAR THOUGHT PROCESSES ,,,YOU NEED TO AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO INVISION WHAT YOU ARE EFFECTING DYNAMICALLY.......!
1 to 2 weeks, he's just making prison wine. you don't even need all the tubes on the bottle unless you plan on drinking it, putting a cap on loosely will serve same purpose as long as gas can escape
