Can you give me an estimate as to how much filler cord and 5mm cord is used in this basket? I have no idea how much of either item to cut. Thank you! Love your tutorials

Hi Cindy! Thank you! You actually don’t need to measure. I leave the filler cord as the roll it comes in and you’ll cut the macrame cord as needed. There’s no measurement because it depends on how large you want your basket to be.

Looks great. Thanks for the tutorial. I just realized I ordered 3mm macrame cord instead of 5mm. Any adjustments I need to make to start my basket such as 6 loops in between instead of 4?

Thank you! No you can still wrap 4. You don’t want the spaces in between to be too large. The larger the spaces, the less sturdy your basket will be.
