ad Lat Well the way I only ever see them in use is when people have a huge garden and the dog isn't allowed to cross the boundaries, so it doesn't run off to a highly used street or something. In that case (on a low setting of course) I think it's alright because it's not possible to follow a dog anywhere he goes and roaming around freely is nicer for the dog than being on an leash all the time
