Those turned out really pretty. I had a professional do mine because I didn’t want to worry about doing it myself and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have ended up looking like yours. You also saved a lot of money! Good job and congratulations!

Hi Liz! Love your video, how long did they stay in your parents' basement before the ceremony day? was it in the winter and was it very cold? my wedding in gonna be in January and I don't know where to keep the arrangements afterward. thank you so much for sharing your experiences!

Beautiful flowers! For your ceremony arch pieces I have a few questions! Did you use flower foam that you then tied to your arch? And how far in advance did you make them and how did you store them until the wedding day?

Thank you, Sarah!😁I did not use foam, but looking back it would have been another great option. I actually used a Metal Wire Headstone Saddle for the middle arrangement and two metal floral easels for the sides. I just used floral wire to secure each bunch of flowers. I got everything from Hobby lobby!

Thank you for making this video! Your flowers were great, ESPECIALLY your arch flowers. Do you have any regrets? Like wish you'd bought more or less, or not rose petals?

Thank you so much!☺️❣️ Honestly I don't not have any regrets!!! The only thing I can think of is I would have loved some more eucalyptus (apart of the fillers bundle) but we had enough!🙌

Hi! Do you think 2 packs of the greenery/baby's breath fillers would have been enough for your bride/bridal party bouquets? I am planning on doing simple rose/babys breath/greenery for my wedding party of 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, and don't know whether I should get 2 packs of greenery alone OR do a 100 pack of babys breath and 1 pack of greenery like you did.

Thank you for this video! Quick question, the video cut out when you were showing the swag for the arch arrangements. I think you were saying you bought the main piece then added your flowers and filler into the already pre-made arch piece. Where did you get the pre-made arch piece from?

you are so very welcome! 😘 I got everything at Hobby lobby! The large greenery runners are also from Costco..I cut the runners into smaller "chunks" and strapped them to two floral metal easel frames for the side and the middle piece was actually a metal wire headstone frame...(which I didn't know I just knew it'd work for what I needed🤣) definitely get the green floral wore and green floral zip ties and you will be good to go!!!💖💖😘 All are still available at hobby lobby XOXOX

Hi! For the pieces you made in advance for the arch. How did you store it? Did you sit the foam in water? Did everything for the arch stay fresh?

Everything stayed pretty fresh!! Didn’t put the big arrangements in any water. The boutonnieres we put in little floral tubes that you fill with water. Worked great!😁👍🏻

Thank you!! I really just read the description of each bundle Costco offered and made my best estimate based off of how many tables there would be and how many roses I wanted per arrangement. It's vital to know exactly what floral arrangements you want. Pinterest was an amazing resource. At one point I literally counted how many roses were in a larger arch arrangement! I have never done this so if I could do it so can you haha😂

Thank you! Yes, just a cool place! I read the fridge will actually kill your flowers faster, if it's not a fridge made especially for floral arrangements.💖

Congratulations!! DIY flowers are a fantastic way to save money! I kept the flowers in my parents basement, a cool dark environment. No fridge- unless it's literally a fridge designed for floral arrangements. I was told a normal fridge will wilt your flowers! I sprayed my arrangements with a bottle filled with water/a packet of flower food. I'm not sure of that really did anything, but I thought it was worth a try and my arrangements stayed fresh! hope that helped😊💖

Thanks!! I ordered them to arrive two days in advance and they stayed looking pretty fresh! One day is even better, but that’s a lot of work the day before your wedding haha

Im a professional florist and i dont know if you got quotes from any shops around but for what you had $3000 is way over exaggerated! For the amount of flowers and arrangements you had in the video it would have actually been about $500 Your design is beautiful and very simple. Roses all tho the most popular wedding flower are actually the most cost effective running about $1 per stem

So the last minute and a half is nothing but a black screen and you talking. So you don’t get to see the finished hanging flowers or the boutonnières at all
