Hi! Yes, you could use other types as well, but most regular yarn is quite thin and then you would just have to crochet a lot more rows to make it the same size. If the yarn is thinner then the hook should be smaller as well❤️ Hope it was enough answer!

What size of your crochet hook?

It depends on how thick your yarn is if its thick yarn use maybe like 5 or 6 mm and if its thinner use 4mm!

On your blog there is this picture of a red bag but I think that the type of yarn that you used there is not the t-shirt one because the texture seems quite different. Hi Maria. It is the same type of yarn from the same website, but it is just a fuzzy type. I think you could search “fuzzy t-shirt yarn” on Amazon and find something😊

Hi! I used a little more than one regular sized ball of yarn (mine is from a website called Hoooked.co.uk) 😊 but of course it depends on the size bag you want to make.
