Recreating the Oscar de La Renta crochet rainbow dress Selena Gomez wore in her “Love On” music video 🌈✨ Full crochet tutorial on my channel Krystal Everdeen 💛 #crochet #crochettutorial #crochetinspiration #crochetdress
When you handmake anything, you can charge whatever you want. To the people that don't know how to crochet, do yourself a favor and put in the time to learn! You will save yourself so much money. I also find it very rewarding when I finish my projects. It's been very beneficial to my mental health ❤
So true, i discovered crocheting & it greatly helps me coping with my panic disorder when before i had almost nothing that helped , so im very happy about it, love crocheting
@nah.-wy6fj They're adding up the price for each material to do this, the time it took to make it, and others. That's why it's so expensive like when you get your nails done, they make it a lot of money because of the amount of money they had to use and the work they put into it.
@@anahi3590she meant she hoped someone like the girl in the video would make it. I think she just worded it in a way that if you read it wrong then it would be kinda rude
SOOOO glad to see a celebrity wearing a crochet garment with a high enough price tag! Crochet should not be cheap ❤ (almost 3k is crazy but at least it’s not under $100)
I think designer crochet could be a fantastic way for individuals to make a profitable business selling crochet garments! Sets a precedent for crochet in fashion, and shows a gap in the market (I think anyway) :)
I’m so glad you showed us with it on! 😍 towards the end I was saying, “put it on cmon put it on!(thinking it was going to end without a try on)”. Great work!
I love the ombre yarns used in the original and the price is because of the time and talent that went into it. I can't even imagine what they charge per hour but I charge $15 per hour & materials. People are surprised that newborn dresses cost so much but it takes hours to make a dress even that tiny.
Would also not wear this as a dress but a top would be super cute! I would also change the color palette to a gradient (rainbow is too loud for a goth 😅) . i would leave the straps, put the scalloped edge on the other side and add long belled sleeves under the straps 😍
I was thinking the colors blended together too well on the original. Thought maybe it was far more shades of yarn than this recreation, but your theory makes more sense
Wow really excellent job ❤..i can do almost everything about basic woman jobs, except sewing and friends 😅 so I'm always in awe to woman who can do and super talented on that stuff ❤❤❤
I wonder what you could pair with this on chilly days like in the fall 🤔 it would have to be something simple so as not to take away from the beauty of the dress
