This dude's a genius and it makes me feel pretty dumb after realising what the mask is basically made of and how simple (or intuitive, depending on how you look at it) the build process is. Man I've learnt something today.
I was wondering how these were made. Definitely getting a like from me at least, probably saved me a stupid amount of dollars. And another thing, when I was eyeballing these on etsy and such, one guy offered some kind of rugby gear which gives the back of your head more detail and hides it better. Giving it a helmet vibe instead of a mask vibe.
Just did the same thing today. Saw them on etsy and thought about getting one for Halloween but they wouldn't make it in time so now I can just make one in time and save money

It is à led ring i think you have just to glue it to the mask, but take care of the glass, it can become à little White if you dont use the good glue kit
Pretty cool. I made a similar one that I used in a short film. I used two clear visors because they were cheaper than the tinted ones (actually ordered a 3-pack and kept the extra face shield to use). I sprayed them with a tinting spray commonly used for car taillights. l used too many tint spray layers so in the end one can't see much, so be very sparing if you try that method. Another difference is that I used 4 bolts total to attach the visors and it held up pretty well. The final result was OK for the purposes of the movie, but would not use it as a costume due to lack of visibility, Using real tinted visors like shown in Juluis video makes more sense.

Would you happen to know what led lights they used for some masks that are triangular and used inside the mask and it has a function of yellow or red led. Can't seem to find that kind of led anywhere

I will make a video for that just waiting for my other lights i ordered if you will try i recommend to put the double sided tape on the glowing side ang stick it inside the mask so it will looks neat
They used a 12v led light from motorcycle light.. same in u7 lights soon ill post video of the light installation just need to complete all the materials

as far as I can tell this face shield isn't available for me. I ordered a similar one off amazon however it's not exact. not quite the same shape which makes it not sit quite right. really cramped on my head. if anybody does find the exact one used in the video that ships to the states let me know!

Also would circular led light would you recommend and how would you fit it?
