Fabric glue might be a better way to go. Id think it would be a stronger, more permanent bond, and you can buy it in aerosol cans and spray it on in a much more even coat. Ive never made cloth boots before, but I know different glues function differently in relation to each other and the project at hand. It just seems logical to me. Btw, those boots are really cool. Im not trying to shoot down your work or anything, I was just making a suggestion that you might like to try next time you do this, so you can see for yourself if it makes it any easier for you in the production process or not. They have all kinds of glues at the hardware store, but Im thinking of a red aerosol canister (like spray paint) with a black lid. I think the name of the brand is 3m if Im not mistaken. That stuff works ok I think, but its up to you and your preference... I just feel like hot glue probably isnt a strong enough bond to make your hard work last.
Yesssss!!! Love your creativity!!! I'd definitely buy those if I were out shopping!! They look sooo good!!!! Thank you for sharing and I'm going to need you to start selling these LOL!!! You got me wanting to denim my pumps, wedges and all now!!!
You did an awesome job. I did a pair last year and I used fabric glue and mod podge and they are still holding up looking good. I brought a pair of kids jeans from the thrift store and used the back pockets to add to the side. Once again awesome job.
I see that this is an old video.....however I am just now seeing it...and I have to say that these are the most creative, stylish, awesome looking pair of boots I have ever seen. I would rock these every day if I could get away with it. I can't understand how boots like this aren't being sold in the malls....and shoe stores.....I mean sewn together for a better security purpose of course but your idea is on point......LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
omg 😍 i love it i have these pair of black boots that will never use and these riped denim pants that will never fit me again i know what my new project will be ❤

I love embroidery and have a pair of faux black heel booties that are cracking . looks like I need a pair of denim boots for my chambre dress I am making me for spring/summer. thanks for showing how easy I can do it. now to track a pair of jeans for the raggy look that looks good. I remember a day when peol le wanted to go from rags to riches .....well now the rich (and not so rich) like the raggy style of life.
