Hey Yaya 1st off love all your videos. Your such an inspiration and Great teacher. I've learned so much from you these past couple of years. My question to you though have you formulated a shampoo that pairs with leave in conditioner.
⚠️ IMPORTANT! Whenever you add raw or food grade ingredients to a product, it WILL reduce the shelf life. Take caution when using for long periods of time. In most cases, a preservative is not enough. Here are some tips: 1️⃣ I added rosemary extract and butylene glycol to this conditioner because they both have antimicrobial properties. The rosemary extract and butylene glycol will work with the preservative to help add more protection. 2️⃣ I also believe using a pump or squeeze bottle will lessen the chances of contamination. 3️⃣ When using raw or food grade ingredients, I recommend making a small batch that you can use up quickly. 4️⃣ You can also refrigerate the product even with a preservative added. This will help extend its life. ✨I am so grateful to the subscriber who asked this question because this is so important.
This works awesome as rinse out as well. I prepared and freeze in small quantities. Used alone or added to commercial conditioner. Really awesome. I actually reduced the water phase a bit and added more oil since I am using as a rinse out. It’s super awesome. Just a freezer tip though for longevity or larger batches.
I finally tried this recipe! Couldnt find Ambunu, but added some Chebe, Hibiscus and Amla on top of the Slippery Elm and Marshmallow Root. It doesnt look as pretty because the Chebe turns everything muddy but oh well 😅.Havent had such a great conditioner in a while! My hair is quite thin so I really only need a tiny bit on my hands and rub it in after every shower, so this batch will last me ages. My Hair feels shiny soft and thick! Thank you for the recipe!
I so need this. My hair stays so dry, it breaks, it's not getting any length. I've tried everything. I make my own products too. Never made a hair conditioner, only oils. I'll check this mixture out. Blessings.
Hi Yaya, been following your work for a while now and I really appreciate each video. I need a little help please, I tried making a herbal leave in and deep conditioner and added preservative to it but it still became rancid after a week. What do you think I did wrong and how can I fix it
Literally one minute ago 😂 Please make simple liquid conditioner with basic ingredients for us loc heads, we can’t use cream conditioners to avoid build up ❤️
Hi sorry But butylene glycol is not a good substance. It is a very strong solvent, therefore it dissolves the intercorneocyte cement (ie the glue that holds together the dead surface cells giving a compact and healthy appearance to the skin). With this system, does it favor the penetration of assets (and not only!) But at what price?
Hi from France Yaya! 😃Thank you for this wonderful formula. ❤️I really want to try it for my hair. I have a question can I use cocoa butter instead of shea butter and coconut oil or olive oil instead of avocado oil? Thank you
So with the 3 preservative aids added. How long will this extend the shelf life from completion to risk of fungus, becoming rancid, etc.? Thank you in advance
I wish you can be a cosmetics formalist, because it would be great if you could make leave in conditioners for small business brands or even help format a formula? Like I would really like to work with you.
I get asked to help businesses all the time, but for legal reasons, I can’t. However, I am working on a solution. I hope it will help in the future. 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations great I can’t wait! I have the list of ingredients but I just need a formula 😭 because they can’t mass produce without one that’s where I’m falling behind
Hello, I just love your channel and thank you for sharing with us. And could you please share with us? What preservative did you use to make the living condition because I would like to make me some hair grease using water and thank you very much. Big hugs.
Thank you so much! Love all your creations. Will the raw ingredients reduce the shelf life of the product? I know preservative has been added. Yet a doubt
Great question! I wanted to mention this in the video. The raw ingredients "WILL" reduce the shelf life. To help this, I added the rosemary extract and butylene glycol; because they both have antimicrobial properties. The rosemary extract and butylene glycol will work with the preservative to help add more protection. I also believe using a pump or squeeze bottle will lessen the chances of contamination. When using raw or food grade ingredients, I recommend making a small batch that you can use up quickly. You can also refrigerate the product even with a preservative added. This will help extend its life. I am so grateful you asked this question because this is so important. I will also add this information to the description box for others to see. Thank you. 💜😊
I love this video!!! I just discovered your channel and I am so ready to try few of your DIYs. Quick question: can the butylene glycol be replaced by propylene glycol? We don't have easy access to the 1st one in Europe unfortunately 🤭 Thanks a bunch for aaaaall of this! The hair journey is about to get to the next level in this household! 🥳🎉
Hello, I am interested in learning how to make this product however, I would like to know how do you come up with the percentages of each ingredient to use? Thanks for your help
Hi Yaya, hope you doing alright. Thank you so much for this video I learned a lot. I do have a question though: I tried making a detangler using some of your ingredients and other replacements and at first it appears fine (thick, shiny and with good slip) but then after putting it in a container, cover it and leave it for an hour or two, when I take a look at it it changes in appearance. It looks rough and has air bubbles in it. Do you by chance have an explanation? Thank you in advance😃
I would love a diy tutorial on product like the hair paint wax but like a creamer version, I tried to do one myself but the mica didn't color my hair with my version
hello yaya. this leave in seems great. with which I can replace butylene glycol, panthenol powder and guar cat. I did not find his products for sale at home in France. thank you so much.
Nice video, having doubt that do we have to apply after shampooing n for how long for dry, curly, frizzy hairs, n Do we wash our hairs after that or leave it as it is!!!! Thank you Ma'am.
Would you be willing to provide links to the preservatives and other ingredients included? I would like to avoid knock offs. Or if you plan on selling this leave-in on your site please let me know. I'm so down to buy 😁
I will keep you posted. That may happen in the future. Some ingredients may be sold out or no longer offered by the supplier. In some cases, I can’t give links to certain suppliers. I am sorry and hope to be able to help with this in the future. In the meantime, the video shows some of the suppliers on the bottle. 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations I definitely understand. I will check out the video again to look at the containers you use. And I'll also keep checking out your website hoping you decide to sell 😊
You are welcome! I always test the pH. However, for various reasons, not all footage makes it into the video. I highly recommend adjusting the pH because of the GuarCat. 💜✨
Hello yaya I like this video but I am confused about 300ml fenugreek and then 300ml distilled water please explain I want to try your recipe but that part
You are so welcome! I got them from Amazon. Here is the link: amzn.to/3mKF7t4 Sorry about that, I thought I added it to the description box. I will add it now. 💜✨
Hi. I was wondering how much of the infused tea do you use? I rewatch the beginning of the video a few times and I didn’t find where you said how much.
