for the bottom step at 5:05 you can just use the following formula to generate a perfect fitting cylindrical wedge. Φ ≥ 90°: l = r + √ r² - r² * sin²(Φ)
Hey Blue Shark, Thank you for this video. I made a version of this. I bought two cans of chips and used the lids of the cans instead of cardboard. The lip of the lids poke out from the tower but they prevent the cardboard falling out over time. I then painted it brown, drew on windows, added turrets and gave it to my husband who loves it.
I had a little bit of trouble doing the lines but once I understood the rest was easy. My tower is looking great and this is by far the most friendly tutorial i found. Thanks! ♥
I actually just made one using a heavy duty cardboard box from one of my many online orders and tape. I was pleased with myself as I normally don't do so good at that kind of thing but it came out really well. The dice tray I bought even fits nicely under it to catch the die on it's way out.
I am working on 1 that is going to look like a burlesque building night club. With cars in front for the guard rails for the dice. I was thinking of making 1 that has a draw bridge over a moat. Do you think it will work? I am very impressed with you engineering skills.
Working on a deluxe castle style with 4 drop openings & 1 drop out exit. Trying to figure out how to make it with 3 exit openings instead. Got any ideas?
