1 tablespoon of salt to 3 of hot water ( thickner), heat 1 cup of water and with washing soda. Then a quarter of a cup of castle soap and then add essential oils of your liking.
@@FrankGutowski-ls8jt actually I was taking notes but you sir are a idiot. I take oils. I use oregano for covid and rub eucalyptus on my chest. You must be one of them stupid doctors😂😂😂
Absolutely. This is not synthetic chemical free. I would advice people to instead use pure castile soap, and if a more gel like solution is preferred to add salt
1 TBSP Salt 3 TBSP Boiled Water 1 Cup Water 1 TBSP Washing Soda (Is that Bicarbonate Soda?) 1/4 cup Dr. Bronners Sal Suds Drops of Essential Oils of choice
@@Regirs Stephen asked a good question - not every country uses the term 'washing soda' for sodium bicarbonate. Some people only know bicarbonate of soda as 'baking soda' and would wonder what 'washing soda' might be...
I love your channel I'm 63 years old I wish I would have known this when I was 15 you're amazing I have a question about the Dr Bonner's sal suds the only one I can find on Amazon has the word Pine in it does that mean pine scent I don't like pine scent let me know please I'm going to share this with my family thank you so much
As a student, this video helped me a lot, in my research experiment. And it is also affordable for people who have low incomes. I hope you'll post more vids. :))
I too have clear Sals Suds. I’m wondering if she added the first mixture (1 T. table salt + 3 T. Boiled water to it) to the Sal’s Suds but forgot to mention it and then the salt she mentions at the end of the video is ADDITIONAL salt 🤷♀️ Sals Suds has a NATURAL SLS. It is a safe product. It is stronger than Castile soap for washing dishes.
It is similar, but Sal Suds are much stronger and used for cleaning objects. Castile Soap is less strong and in addition to being used for cleaning objects, you can also clean yourself with it. Dilution is key to using either of these.
3 table spoon of salt with hot water 1 table spoon of washing soda with one cup of water Quarter cup of Dr.Bronner's Sal Suds biodegrade cleaner Smell is up to you 10 drops of lemon grass 10 drops of lemon 10 drops of sweet orange oil 10 drops of Lavendar
You will need to replace it with a soap of your choice. I would use pure castile soap to avoid the synthetic ingredients in Sals Suds. You can add table salt to thicken your liquid
No I think in Europe it is more like Crystal Soda that you can add to your washing detergent to both improve the effectiveness of the detergent And help clean the inside of the Washing Machine.
@@martg4389 Hmm....any soap made from an oil base should work, such as canola oil or coconut oil. There are some recipes out there for making your own castile soap you could always search for. I haven't tried any yet to recommend though. Sorry!
i just made this as i ran out of dish liquid and have put it through the dishwasher. I have sadly ruined a saucepan so sorry but I won't recommend this recepie
You can place regular baking soda in the oven -Not on an aluminum pan! - turn your oven on to 400 degrees and bake your baking soda for about an hour. Store in a glass container. You now have washing soda!
Darn. Great ideas and channel. Wish you would do more. We are trying to find products that are sustainable and you have great ideas. Keep up the great work. Post more. The people at UrbanLifeTime.com say hello.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment, it means a lot! Sadly, life has been a little too busy the past year for me to have the head space to do more videos. I am hoping to get back into it soon. Thanks again for your kind words.
@@Mandimakes You are welcome. All of the USA I am sure wishes your environs and wildlife come through the fires as best as possible. BTW- I thought your accent was from Brooklyn, NY at first, though. :-) I like the "make your own" liquid cleaning products. Money saving and safer. Hope you get back to more when you can. -UrbanLifeTime and us all. :-)
If you managed to watch the whole video, you would have seen that I only let the water run enough to fill my sink with the water I needed to wash my dishes. No water was wasted.
