Sorry to ask such a basic question, but if the controller controls the movement of the gimbal, how do you control the vehicle? One more question. I am thinking of getting this for my Foxeer Aura 8 because no matter what I do, I can’t get rid of some vibrations and jello. Would using this gimbal solve that issue?

@@Binkoro its so ez buddy, base on the chanel you get used to it, mine(tx): left control- throttle and yaw, right control- steering and pitch up down. And the jello issue you want really smooth while driving rc car you defnitely have to got a Gimble and the RC car(suspension…etc) fix. My case im using O3, the live from dvr was fine not too much shaky but the source was really nice, smoooth cause i turn on the rocksteady 👍👍👍👍 hope its help.

When you plug the PWM cables do you plug each one in a servo channels signal plug? Where do you plug them into on your servo? Could you give me a diagram please?

Very interesting and informative video. Was curious how well it would handle an rc car. Footage looked reasonably stable, especially considering how much the gimbal looked to be vibrating. 😎

Agreed! One question I have is how you picked up the audio track on the RC car? Where do you get that data or is there a microphone in the 03 unit I’m not aware of?

I have had an o3 air unit shut down mid flight while stories up which caused my hexacopter to be destroyed. It's quite annoying.

Do you have good area for your 03 system to mounted on your hexcopter??? Cuz 03 system can get pretty hot pretty fast and then it will overhead IFFF you don't have yours on right location to have plenty plenty of ventilation to cool down your 03 system during your mid flight. I do same thing and I mounted mine in right location on long body of frame, but in the end of body on a frame and have it lift off from carbon fiber with 3D print mount and gorilla double sticker 3M and I never have an issue by overheating my 03 system this way I mounted mine. So how did you mount it exactly?? If you don't mind my asking... By the way hey @kremerfpv at 0:20 to 0:25 the footage look AAA AMAZINGLY cuz from insta360 camera can see literally the newest gyro mount thingy from DJI with 03 system on it and it shakes like crazily 😵‍💫 BUT actual footage from 03 system showed no shakes while drive your RC buggy or however to said for this rc truck and that's how very very gooooooood DJI mount thingy built in with gyro is soooo good to showed proof literally no shakes in DJI mount thingy while using the 03 system, awessssome!!!!!

Wait I'm confused. Does the O3 version work for both the O3 as well as the Vista and V1 Air Unit or is it only the O3? You said the O3 version was only compatible with O3 then you said the DJI version is only compatible with the older version of DJI VTX? Did you mean to say the Caddx Version is compatible with the V1 or am I confusing something here? All the sites I've seen have either O3 or Caddx options available and I wasn't sure if Caddx meant Walksnail or the Vista. If you can clear this up for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I am probably going to buy the O3 version regardless (although I doubt I'll use it on a quad) but it would be cool if I misunderstood and it is compatible with both O3 and OG DJI Air units. Their new firmware somewhat addresses this issue. I think the problem is the max holding power of the motors. I had first just started locking the yaw with tape so it couldn't move at all. It worked well enough. Then their new firmware allowed you to adjust the max motor torque to 3x the factory setting. Combined with mixing the yaw into your steering a little it worked very well for me on 'moderate' off road like smooth grass or fast driving on road. When I tried driving fast on real bumpy off road I got the jitter again. The solution I'm doing now is just locking the yaw like I did before, but now I can reduce the motor torque on it to where it's never fighting against the physical lock. Since the max torque setting seems pretty powerful to be honest, I would find it hard to believe any other gimbal is truly addressing this issue either. Unless they redesign the layout, the yaw axis in these general designs with a camera installed just allow it to get sling-shotted side to side too easily with high speed off roading.

how did you get the 03 out of low power mode? in goggles? is there a way to do it via an extra UART on the FC?

Yes, just disabled low power mode using the goggles. If you are using an FC you can arm it.

@@KremerFPV Do you know if turning off low power mode in the goggles has the same effect as arming it? I keep reading you need to arm it for full power, but there's nothing to indicate it's being restricted by just turning off low power mode..
