Hahahaha, yeah. Me, a 59 year old man thinking this could get awkward, lol. It kinda reminded me of a childrens' TV programme, 'Blue Peter' where the presenters would say, " Remember to ask your mother or father to help you with this ... " particularly if the project involved naked flame, lol.
I'm watching with my five-year-old son. Even a five-year-old can appreciate your ingenuity and artistry. As soon as this ended, he said, "Let's watch another one." We've watched a load of your videos, together, and we love your ideas and your results! Well done!
I love the macrame planter. Drew, you need to trim down the wicks of those candles burning behind you. The flames are too high and it causes the flickering.
That candle is amazing!!! Definitely going to do that project, because the final product straight up looks like it would cost like $70 at anthropology 😭 Also, never thought about re-purposing candles and putting them into a new container.....genius.
for the last grid fencing, it would be really cute too to add like clothing hanger clips (like the small ones) and use it as a display for polaroid pictures...which also made me think that you could make a video on trying to do subscriber diys, i think that would be cool
@@beccab2701 hey if you wanna try, you could check out the channel sorrygirls they're also a diy channel just type in sorrygirls headboards and they have lots of videos on how to make different ones :)
I have a full time job and college classes and I’m dealing with a broken heart and your videos are one of the few things that chill me out, thank you so much!
Hi. Just wondering if you could make more “international” DIY’s? In the sense of how most of us in the rest of the world do not have target, dollar store, dollar tree, amazon delivery, walmart etc. I understand we could find similar pieces, but a whole episode with DIY’s without a specific thing from an US based store would be fun to watch.
@@jazz2313 I guess she means more generic items that you could find in any area, rather than from a particular store. The macrame basket, I think, is an example of that. Anyone can find a hanging basket and macrame yarn. I don't think I'd be able to find the pot with a face on it where I live. But I don't mind, because you could do the same thing with a different shaped pot. You don't need to use the exact items he does.
I have no idea how I have not come across your channel until tonight since I'm always watching these DIY crafty videos for new & original ideas to make for my home. I was quite impressed with 3 out of 4 of the crafts you featured in this video. I plan to nose around your past vids, but I'd appreciate seeing some more unique candle crafts if you think you could ever pull that off. Or even just one new candle craft nestled in future videos, here & there... 😊 Here's Hoping! And thanks for your ideas! ❤️
I love DIYs like this, affordable and easy to do! I am going to share some in my channel soon, never posted a video but super exited to share “on budget” projects with all the crafty people of the world. Thanks so much for sharing Drew!! U rock! 😘
😮 Okay, this was amazing! I wonder if Dollar Tree's 32 inch bamboo skewers could be used to create the fencing? It is a lighter colored wood and could be stained too, but that may be more work than it is worth. Great video
So I have been Watching tons of DIY projects from the dollar tree and I have to say is that yours are my absolute favorite because they are crafts that look like they were purchased in a store not made from dollar tree items :-) that’s the ultimate in my opinion spending as little as possible and making something look fabulous! Thank you and I will be seeing more of your videos as the days go on as I am re-decorating my entire house gulp!
Your videos are particularly soothing for me (and I'm sure others) right now, in this time of global crisis. Thank you, Drew, for bringing joy through your videos! And be safe everybody.
These are fab Drew! Would you ever consider doing 'as live' diys? I did one recently with Poundland items and would love to challenge you to do the same! :)
I love your channel! You are such a creative guy. The challenge you did with Hermione where you bought the other person's DIYS supplies at Poundland was great! xx
awesomeness my favorite one was the basket cause you can also use it as a lap shade. I thinking is better to wrap the top like you did before whapping around the basket tho. will be quicker that way.
Here is why I like to watch you You're very animated and interesting to watch your music is subtle and doesn't distract Unlike most other channels your projects are diverse......not every single blessed item all the time on most of the channels day after day is about farmhouse or distressing or chalk paint or chicken wire or pallets.... It's just overload Thank you
I love making decor from Dollar Tree items! 😍 I don’t have a 99 Cent Store near me but I’m obsessed with the candle you made!! I’ll definitely be on the look out for a pot/container to make a candle myself! I always look forward to your and XO, MaCenna’s videos!
I’m definitely going to have to check out my 99 cents store !I loved the candle project as well.Crazy what a small change, such as spray painting, could do!Great projects.❤️
I love the mirror! It's a refreshing change from the common DIY with DT mirrors. And I've been eyeing those face pots at 99 - will have to get one. I don't have a favorite - all good!!!
Hi Drew🖐 1st) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your positive energy, You give off such great vibes😊 2nd) LOVE when I get the notification for your videos, makes my day.. You've always got GREAT ideas at an extremely fair price👍 And lastly, All these were great DIY'S but the mirror is my FAV,,, Sooo gonna be making this one,, Thanx for the awesome vids,, Keep up the AWESOME work & keep being you💋❤😘
Just imagine how cute the hanging basket would be if you connected another one or two on the bottom and put some vining/ hanging plants! A PERFECT way to brighten up a dark corner
All ur diy’s are awesome and not just for the sake of the channel. U make real high end decors unlike the cheap ones floating around other channels that looks like a diy by a 10 year old. U rock 😍
Super cool ideas Drew!! My favorite is the candle. That really turned out sharp!!! It looks so expensive❤ Thank you Drew for ANOTHER AWESOME video🤗😁cat Best wishes xxx
I stumbled along this channel and absolutely fell in love with it. I'll admit I was SHOOK when I saw this channel didn't have 1M+ subscribers because that's the type of content this man produces and shares with the world. YOU DESERVE ALL THE CLOUT
I'm currently working online and every time I get kinda stressed out, I just watch your videos and I'll be fine. Your vlogs are a breath of fresh air. Thank you!
Wow, these projects gave me major instant gratification by proxy! Love all of them; that said, the hanging basket would fit right in with my current décor. Thanks, Drew!
I think they would have been better if he attached a black metal clip to them on the flat part to hold the picture rather than use washi tape. I've seen things like that before and think they look a little more polished.
I really want to do the planter as a lampshade and add tassels where the loops for the chain would have gone. Loved this video, super inspired to create something, thank you 🧡
I especially love and inspired by that terracota/black repurposed candle vase & hanging tray! i'll definitely will be looking for these items when i go shopping!
Love!! Tip when using and wrapping cord/macrame, wrap it into a ball, loop ball (off the wheel maybe around your hand first but then take it off your hand) and then instead of having to pull through and stop and start simply pass the roll through the gap!
I like how you reminded to seek help from parents. Very considerate since we don't know the age bracket of the one watching your videos. It's a warning for kids. ❤️
I loved these! As always, your creativity leads to beautiful results. But this video was extra because it brought the unexpected from humble beginnings.
