DIY Dollar Tree Bling Gold Cake Stand Decor On a Budget

Are you looking for a gold cake stand/tiered cake stand with a little bling that you can DIY yourself on the cheap? Then this tutorial is for you because although this cute little cupcake stand is cheap made with mostly Dollar Tree items. This bling cake stand still has an upscale and glamorous look perfect for any occasion. This cake stand has mirror and crystal accents but still doesn’t break the bank. Even though this would be perfect for weddings, birthdays, showers, or any holiday occasion, I am dressing this cupcake display with some fall cupcakes as an added bonus at the end. I hope you enjoy!

I made this cupcake stand and used it for my daughters bridal shower. It came out great. I went for the cleaner look mainly because I am a beginner crafter. Thanks to ur vedeo they came out very good.

TOTALLY, 100% WITH the crystals! My best friend and I used to design and make lots of projects {mostly clothing} for celebrities, dance clubs, etc... (I even made costumes for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!) ANYHOO, of course we always used "Swarovski" crystals since they were for a business, but I love EVERYTHING BLING! Now our home is basically ALLLL "vintage shabby chic", but my "chic" portion of that term, lol, is quite often very sparkly! {there's no such thing as too much bling in my book 😘} I can't WAIT to make this cake stand, however, I'll probably use silver. I've just never been a huge fan of gold tones, plus, it seems a little too fancy for all the shabby chic stuff. But either way, I think it's BEAUTIFUL and I can't WAIT to make it! I too have a ton of different crystals so I may never have to buy more. Lol TFS

I love the cake stands! I love it cleaner! With that said I would be using it at home! Chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting I don’t think it gets any better!

Wow incredibly impressed I was looking for a very affordable unique centerpiece ideas for my wedding, 1 idea that stood out was use a 3 tiered cupcake holder and add flowers per level. Looking at prices were out of my budget so came across your video and voila I found it, going to make it with crystals, and buy bulk fake flowers of roses and peonies in ivory, and blush to put on each level thank you soo much.

This was so exciting to watch you. I loved your cupcake stand. It came out beautiful, I for just regular birthdays I would use it without crystals, but for special occasions I would definitely want the crystals on it. I would display it in my cabinet with the crystals on it. So I like it both ways. Thank you for showing this DIY it will be used quite a lot. Thank you also for the peanut butter icing, I love peanut butter so I will be making lots of cupcakes & cakes for this icing. By the way I am new to your channel & so far I'm loving what I have seen. If using for cupcakes or any food without bling as I think that could get in the way and dragging frosting through crystals is not fun (or sanitary!). I like the blinged up if using as a decor piece, say on a baker’s rack with fake cupcakes. Great idea and execution and cupcakes look delicious. Love the acorn!

Burner covers & margarita glasses? Who would have thunk it? You did with your ingenious mind! I agree with you about loving both & using whichever version is appropriate for your occasion. I would probably prefer the simpler version more often though. Since the mirror & bling trim are silvertone I think that I will just use a silver spray paint. Also, you did say that the burner covers are kinda flimsy so why not just glue the two covers together? FYI, I found the purple instructions when you were showing how to add the crystals difficult to read-even with my glasses! Anyone else have this problem or do I just need a new prescription LOL? Love your backsplash so on my way to see what other ingenious tricks you have up your sleeve! TFS
