Aaaaah! Don’t make me choose! Both are great, but #2 is my favorite because of all the ultra girlie elements - the chandelier, the filigree picture frames, the moulding, the frilly dresses, the scroll work on the shelf. Wonderful! From #1 I loved the creativity of the floor toy you made.
Yeah, I'm unable to decide, they are both excellent. They both have elements I love. I'm going to have to make my husband sleep in the broom closet so I can take over the large master bedroom to display all my Barbie rooms that you are teaching us to create.
One of these days I’ll do a video tour of our studio 😆 I have a tall wire shelf that fits quite a few.😆 I totally understand why froggy likes those hidden rooms that fold up.
This was a really hard one. Both are creative and beautiful designs. I do prefer the crib & bureau etc. from #1 but the architectural detail in #2 has me hooked. So #2 it is.
This one was hard so I'll give my specific likes and not-so-likes. In nursery video 1, I loved the dresser and even made one. I also liked all the baby accessories and the crib, though it doesn't look quite like the right scale to me; perhaps its the video that gives that impression. I did not like the wall paper at all in the first nursery at all, just my own personal preference for lighter colors. In the second nursery video I really liked the crib and the little shelf. I also liked the details of the actual room, especially since I've been in many Victorian homes with crown molding like that. I loved the "light" and ceiling medallion (I'd love to find one). I'd have liked to have seen more details that are used for a baby in a baby room, like books, rattles, etc... I think overall, Nursery 1 wins for me since it had things in it that would be used for a baby's care, but I'd love to combine my favorite elements from each and make a third room. Perhaps that'd be an interesting video. I do hope you'll show your studio and how you store the rooms you make.
Amazing! I learned a lot of tips and tricks for making items for granddaughter's Barbies.I especially love the tall table idea as I have so many of those display tables from the Make it Mini Verse Cafe and Diner balls. I'm going to try to make the bench seat and tall tables for her Food Court. I've never had much luck with cutting straight lines in the foam board but I'll pick up a few extra tools and mats and give it another shot. You Rock!
I’m glad to hear that 😄 hopefully you won’t have to wait as long for the next one 😆 mom and I are trying to figure out how to make things easier so it’s not Such a long process.
I love both nurseries! I vote for both because for me I would take things from both rooms to make what I think would be the perfect room. Do you mind sharing where you found the chandelier ornament at?
