Nice stickers; they'd be an awesome gift (or other surprise) for children in your life. Appreciate all the knowledge trial and error imparted, and the tips they inspired. Of course, for me it would be all error, no trial. You, on the other hand, overcame the challenges and made it all work splendidly. That's why you're the professional. Great project!

Thanks, Keith! Sometimes it is better to have to go through the process a few times to get some helpful tips about what to do and what not to do. Glad I was able to share what I picked up during the trial and error phase. :)

You can also use a laminator machine that has a cold setting to get bubbles out of the doming laminate sheet!

Thank you for the great tips! Definately a design flaw of the syringe system, with 1 part being thinner than the other. I find that sacrificing small squeeze bottles is much easier, but means mixing the resin by hand first. Also, most brands of pouring resin or resin NOT intended for tumblers let's say (too thin) will work. I looked like such a struggle with the amount of pressure you had to use that for some with dexterity or strength issues would have a different time.

Thank you for the sharing , I larned so much . I would like to add that according to my mum (she use epoxy) you can clean the syringe tip with alcohol before the epoxy crystallize and it would be reusable.

Very interesting but looks really hard on your hands. I've seen on RU-vid where resin artists use a small chef's butane torch to get the bubbles out, it maybe worthwhile to invest in one of these if you were planning on making lots of these stickers.

Thanks for the tip about the butane torch, Glennis! I've been thinking about getting one to use in my acrylic pour paintings, and this would make it a multi-tasking supply. Pressing the plunger down is kind of tough on the hands, especially at first. It became a little bit easier to do as I worked, so there may have been some air in there at first that needed to be worked out. I probably wouldn't recommend this for those with arthritis or other joint conditions.

How flexible are they? I'd need to bend them by something like 10 degrees.

Do u know if using ready brought stickers would u still need the doming laminate paper over them ?

Hi, Lelly! I think it will depend on the finish of the stickers that you buy. If they're really shiny and glossy, then I don't think you'll need the doming lamination sheet because the glossy coating should protect the sticker when you add the doming resin.

This video was great, but to be honest I can achieve the exact same look with glossy accents, which is way cheaper.

Unless you want to make masses of stickers, you could use clear UV nail top coat on your cut stickers, if you have that and a lamp already, or use some Triple Thick varnish.

createinspain - Thanks for the tip, Sandra. I had no idea that you can get similar dimensional effects with UV nail top coat and varnish. Good to know!
