Nice bag with some very good construction features for those of us making bags on domestic machines, particularly the recessed zip to slim down the topstitching of the upper bag using a facing with centre seam to avoid the seams of the gusset as well as a strap connector that simply folds over the top and fixed with a rivet! 😃
The lining fabric pattern “C” is considerably smaller than the exterior pattern piece “A”. On pattern piece “A”, there is a note to cut 2 exterior and 2 lining pieces. Yet pattern piece “C” is named “Lining”. Any help to clarify?
What a pleasantly simple make! Turns out very nice. I like your videos. They get to the point and skip over repetitive parts of the process. Just the right balance of showing how without getting bogged down in unnecessary detail. Thanks!
Hi Miko, being on another side of the world, I struggle finding some materials. I asked my father (he's the hardware expert) if he could find me something to use for Making piping. He gave me a tiny round plastic 'thing', it's a cylinder, not a tube. Do you think that would work? Because I don't really understand what yours is made of. Thanks 😊
I don't know what Miko use but I use cotton piping cord you can get it in different widths depending what size you want your piping to be. I think your round plastic thing would work if it curves without breaking. Hope this helps.
