The Billy bookcases are a great solution and durable. When I was teaching, I had a few in my room. When we built them, we used wood glue at every "seam" and in every hole. They were even sturdier as a result.

Always love your projects. The room looks great! Just wanted to mention to be mindful with sents around the dogs. They are extra sensitive and can't tell you when its irritating or too much.🐶

Also wanted to add to this that a lot of "normal" scents in candles, air fresheners etc like citrus, lavender, cinnamon, eucalyptus and more can be more than just irritating, actually toxic. Just if people didn't know.

I used to drive through business/industrial areas to pick up good pallots, wood crates, etc. i saved so much money on lumber for building projects, as with the garage and estate sale purchases. I still say you need to take the girls garage saling.

You know the book if you give a mouse a cookie? The other day on everything Kylie Shelly had said that Kylie loves extension cords. The floors and this project reminds me of the book if you give a mouse a cookie. “If you give Kylie the koala and extension cord” If you give Kyle an extension cord, she want to use her tools. When she goes to use her tools, she’ll want to go to Lowe’s to get wood . When she gets wood, then she’ll think about all her paint samples. When she gets her samples, then she has to go to Sherman Williams… After she gets all her supplies for the project, she enlist Mark to help her with her project ….

Scoring first when cut, and can be a pain use a straight edge to run your utility knief on to score then when you got that you cut on the score line, Score line helps prevent chipping. best try first on a scrap so you can see you results.

Hey Kylie. Make sure you use soy based candles. If you check out The Forever Dog there’s some information in there about how normal air fresheners and standard candles are super toxic to our kiddos!
