Hey Marcus. You are a Sigma. We lost our son suddenly in 2022. He was a phenomenal young man. He was also a Sigma out of Morgan State University. His line brothers were a great comfort to us during this difficult time for us. They all showed up for him. My husband is also a Sigma out of Hampton University.. Y'all did such a wonderful job with the entry. The only thing that concerns me is you didn't put the metal door back on the electrical panel. I'm so afraid a circuit would arc and burn the wood panel. You can still cover the metal door with the wood panel for the aesthetics.

I would take down the 3 diamond shaped hanger in the cubby, and that is where I would put the pretty framed and floral picture in its place. Unexpected, warm and inviting, great focal point. You both did a wonderful job. So pretty, peaceful, elegant, and welcoming.

I totally agree on the hanger in the cubby. While it has a function it does not align with the beautiful and elegant wall paper decor in that area. The elegant paper decor should be the focus. And, there are more elegant racks that would match the paper while meeting you functional purpose.

What a great job you and Marcus did! So much work went into the hallway and it looks great. I agree with you, there needs to be a cushion on that closet wallpapered bench. The wood that’s on there now looks temporary. Maybe another cushion similar to the one that you did on the window seat in the office? I also think you should paint the wood that’s covering your electric box the same colour as the wall. It is kinda standing out. I like the paper roll idea or you could also consider a tapestry. All in all, amazing job. Thanks for taking us on the journey.

I love how the remodel turned out. I think you and Marcus made great choices for the remodel and you can never go wrong with a white door. I understand a break is much needed. You have to make sure your cup is full before you can pour into someone else. I 'm looking forward for the new content.

As always, great job! Love how you left the closet open with the bench, as you began to grow your family you'll even be able to build mudroom shelves for the kids to help stay organize. What color and brand was the white paint? The electric box is different than an electric panel box? And, be careful not to insert a nail hole in that wood.

Great work❤. Suggestion: build the electrical panel cover with half matching bead board and paint the electrical box cover to match the bead board and the wall, two colors so it blends in with the hallway. The panel can cover can be made with the bead board trim as well to keep the continuation of the pattern. You can still hang the paper roll on it as well. Overall, beautiful transformation, ❤ your videos👏🏾🙏🏾

Kaylah, I really loved your entryway makeover. I think I would’ve put the pegs inside the closet so the hallway could’ve stayed Clean and uncluttered when you hang your coats and stuff on those pegs in the hallway would’ve put a strip in the closet and you should paint those brick that mushroom color I think. I’m very proud of the work you have done ❤

Hey Kayla!!! Love all that you did. The colors are beautiful. The breaker box is concerning. The wood is a fire hazard. It should be metal. One spark and you will have a huge fire. Please look into this. safety over aesthetic.

Looks so good!! Y’all did awesome as always. Just a tip. You could always get a rechargeable lightbulb for the lamp to add a little glow when you want. My closet is my favorite part. Love it!!

As usual you and Marcus did a fabulous job. I just loved the wicker lampshade. The scale and shape made the beautifully painted lamp base look more grand and continued the natural organic warmth of the wicker look in the room. Glad you kept it. Hoping your upcoming announcements will be good news even if we have to see less of you. We are invested in you guys❤

Idea: for electrical outlet cover box cover the bottom half with bead-board and paint same Color as wall and lay a piece of trim on top to align with wall trim. On upper half of electrical box cover paint white. This way it will blend into Your wall design instead of sticking out.

I love the new door and how much light it lets in. Unsure if anyone mentioned it but because the window panels in the new door come more down and expose the house a bit more. There are these privacy screens you can put up that are like a “tint sheet for a car” but it doesn’t tint your incoming light. From the outside it looks like a mirror yet from the inside it looks normal allowing for when it’s night time no one can see in.. I seen it on someone’s instagram and know I’d want it for my own house. Look into that if it concerns you. But overall Kayla wonderful job. I love the new entryway so much brighter and the floors yall did your thang! Everything is beautiful.
