I know them as Raver Buns. But thanks to you and google I have another name for them - Space Buns. Also I agree that's my favorite hair do for her. As for myself, I am often asked how to do it and get a few compliments as well.

Yesss. I’m 62 and I loved the space buns as well. They’re definitely age appropriate in my opinion. I miss my hair 😢 due to medical issues medications etc., however I used to wear my natural hair in 2 curly low knots with one on each side often.

The smaller the sections the longer the style will last. My current style may last 2-3 weeks.

For someone with chronic fatigue/ fibromyalgia what you are doing is excruciating . Most of the time I am just stumped as to what to do with my hair. So I do nothing 😢 😂😂😂😂 still not ready to give up long hair yet, so it's a huge battle. I think I am 3c. Very thin hair that gets tangled up like dreadlocks.😢 how long does that hair style last? Is it heavy? U look great in the 2 part bun, it it looks good on you age should not matter.😊
