in this video I made an easy diy mini indoor cum balcony pond for my tiny fishes.
I made a wooden box of size 23×15×8 inches, I cover the inside with glass sheet.
the main concept of this project is to bring nature home in smaller scales.
having such miniature landscapes not only add beauty to your living scapes, also the visual effects like natural light or FLOWING water, help reduces stress levels and improve moods.

beautiful set up but i dont recommend attaching the glass to the sides of the wood because wood expands and contracts with the temperature and moisture in the air. this may cause the glass to also warp as it is “glued” to the wood. it probably wont break the glass but it could weaken the seals

If it was outside maybe you'd worry but most modern houses are same temp inside year round also expansion based on type of wood and moisture content in wood exposure to elements etc.

i think the way in the video is technically easier for someone without much DIY knowledge to do. You just need a box you like and cut glass to size. Some people might also consider building an aquarium to be a daunting task. I just think the way demonstrated is a more approachable technique.

Instead of wood see thru wud be nicer but again maybe may not be stronger cos a lot of water. How abt granite pond? How abt aquaponic or aeroponic herb & veg farming with all your artwork will make it 1 of its kind to have a functional nice to look at farm & water feature.

Why glas??Why??Pond liner would have done it plus safer!!.Rest is really cool.Unfortunately we can not have indoor ponds or open top aquariums where i live.The himidity gets too high wich gives you moldy walls

They make boxes like this made of glass that makes it so you can see under the water. I cant remember but i think they're called fish tanks. You buy them at a pet store. Edit: it is very nice. Im just joking around being a smart ass. Just incase someone doesn't understand that.

Only plants with high demands and a lot of light need extra CO2. There is some in the water, and especially the emerse plants can draw CO2 from the atmosphere.
