Thanks, I took it a step further. I build 2 of them. 1 I did everything like you showed but on the box I cut the top 1/12” and put hinges on it to have a little storage 2. Instead of a 1x4 I used a 4x4 as the standing board and notched the 1x4 for the boards going side ways, giving it a fence look Have not showed them to no one but my family loved them again thanks

Appreciate the video just built one for camp. tomorrow I'm going to get the welcome stencil for the sign and numbers for the camp site.. I think I'm going with a smaller flower pot and a solar lantern on top of the box.

Did you use a wood planer, the pickets here in Florida are hard to find going through the stack that don't have a bow in the boards making it hard to square..

And if you framed in the flower box it would look even nicer
