Brilliant video, very informative...I have seen somewhere that Hedione can be used as a fixative for Citrus notes too, is that correct, as I have also seen that Dihydromyrcenol is not typically used as a fixative for bergamot can you shed some light on this please.

If you don’t have DHM ( Citrus) Fixative. And you have other fixative like Hedione , then in this condition only, you can use Hedione as fixative if you don’t have any option. 1-DHM have Citrusy fragrance 2- Hedione have jasmine fragrance with light citrusy . These fragrances are fresh and uplift the mood.

If perfume oils quality are fine then perfume will stay on apparel for longtime. Fragrance recognise is depend on practice , it is passion and hobby from school time .

Yes , you can . But try to avoid use premix . You should use correct fixative and ingredients at the time of perfume making. If not possible then make your own premix

Without a fixative, the scent may dissipate more quickly, resulting in a shorter duration of fragrance. Additionally, the fragrance notes may not blend as smoothly, potentially affecting the overall scent composition. Using a fixative in perfumes helps to enhance their longevity and ensures that the fragrance remains consistent over time. It helps the scent molecules to bind and adhere to the skin, allowing the fragrance to slowly release and create a lasting impression.
