Oh yes, it's all very simple and not at all expensive. About 25 years ago I worked as an engineer in a factory. I learned all this from the old masters. Of course now technology has stepped forward. But for a single production and small repairs all this is quite suitable.
@@diygeneration5566 Learning from those who came before is a good thing that has been cast aside far too many times and in too many ways. Keep on showing us out here in YT that there are ways of doing things that can be/are better. Looking forward to your next project.
Thank you for such good, kind words. Reading your comments makes me want to keep making new videos. The next video is coming out in the next few days and will be about reusing lithium-ion batteries.
Hi there I tried making this Kind of flux liquid as per your video however it turn out to solid state stone like after resting for 24 hours Leaving alcohol separate...any suggestions
I've done this kind of flux dozens of times and it's been fine. Try using either a different alcohol or a different rosin. Most likely something is wrong with the ingredients.
this is the probleme its very sticky, i used it long ago using acid salt as its easy to find anywhere it has the same effect too, so better buying japanese flux its cheap and more practicable
