Great idea but I have two thoughts. 1 Why not design brackets on the bottom so that you don't have to glue them on just bend them up like the sides. 2 You might need some vent holes for the mosfet. Great video. Keep up the good work.

Just be careful when heating up pvc pipe, the fumes can be toxic to breathe in.

I like using self tapping sheet metal screws for plastic like this. They work great and come in a variety of sizes.

How cool is this? Makes cases from PVC pipe. From your video I learned you don't have to cut all the way through the PVC to cut it and bending is just some Nichrome wire in a jig. I love videos where the solution isn't another $100 tools I get to use twice a year. Keep broadcasting!!

What was the current of the 12V power supply while bending the PVC?

Thanks for the idea bro. My battery bank circuit is fried. I was not able to find the same sized replacement. The new board is slightly bigger and I need to make a new enclosure. I might use this model and use aluminium sheet. ( For my purpose, it should be able to dissipate heat and metal can do it better)

When I lived in Thailand, I used PVC pipes to make some pretty strong stuff - an outdoor pull-up bar and a set of parallettes. Now I live in EU and PVC pipe is nowhere to be found in here. Probably because PVC is not a nice plastic, environmentally? I think I'd rather get some sheet aluminum and build a small bending brake and make enclosures out of that.
